What sports are held in winter
 

I'm form Australia and i'm travelling to LA,Las Vagas, and San Fran in 2 weeks and want to go see a sport like baseball or football,ice hockey etc... Can anyone tell me whats on then?

The major sports which are played in America in the winter are:<BR><BR>1) Professional (National Basketball Association) and College (National Collegiate Athletic Association) basketball;<BR><BR>2) Professional (National Football League) and College (NCAA) American football; and<BR><BR>3) Professional (National Hockey League) Ice Hockey.<BR><BR>There is NHL hockey in LA. There is NFL football in San Francisco and Oakland. And there is NBA basketball in LA and San Francisco (area).
