Best time is when US children are in school -- February, March, April, May (but avoid the two weeks around Easter as that is a school holiday period)then September, October and the first two weeks of November.
This should help you avoid the biggest crowds. I assumed you were planning for Disney World in Florida? The original Disney Land is in Southern California where you will find an entirely different US experience. Both are wonderful and shouldn't be missed (that is, California and Florida) over the course of a lifetime of travel. Obviously there's more to CA and FL than "Disney" unless you are a totally devoted fan. And some of my best friends are! Either one works as a great centerpiece for a good trip.

We went last year during the beginning of September after Labor Day.. No Crowds, nor lines... (due to the kids starting school).. We had a GREAT time!!! We lucked up weather wise. Highs in the low 80's... Now this year, we went during Easter (we were taking our niece & nephew) and it was Crowded.. We still had a GREAT time but it was definitley a Big difference compared to going during the beginning of September. There was Lines, etc.... So I don't recommend Easter.
Good Luck!!!

Hi: We went in January andit was great. first day was cool but after that it was 70-75. We were able to go from one ride to the next without ever waiting. We never got hot and cranky like so may others have told me they did at Disney. We did not have rain either which you get especially in April or Sept. Some things are not open as long in Jan. but the idea of no lines and not dying of heat made it well worth it to us. Karen

Our last two trips to WDW have been last week of August / first week of September. The parks are not crowded, it is still hot. You do have to worry about any potential hurricanes in Sept / October, but Orlando is 90 miles inland and usually not seriously threatened by hurricanes, which tend to travel up the coast. Trip insurance would be helpful in case something happens & you can't make your trip. You did not ask this, but FYI: If all you want to see is WDW, staying on the Disney property is best ( and rates are lower at these less crowded times). If you also want to spend time at Universal (you can do in two full days) and Sea World (you can see most in one full day) you may want to consider staying at a resort like Star Island (that is where we own a timeshare) that is inbetween the attractions. At our timeshare many of the staff speak Portuguese & they cater to Brazilian clientele.
