Many thanks to all. You've given me lots to think about. Ruined really does sound too depressing. Chasing Manet didn't get rave reviews, but then...??? Reasons to be Pretty sounds just dreadful and isn't the language really repulsive? Our Town has been "done to death" in our little group. Not sure about 80's music in Rock of Ages....we didn't grow up in the 80s
Happiness might be the best choice so far. Still holding out for more openings before we make final decisions for end of May trip. Thanks again.

Just yesterday, I heard raves about "Humor Abuse." It's a biographical solo performance written and starred in by Lorenzo Pisoni, the actor/dancer who played the lead horse, Nugget, in this season's "Equus." Unfortunately, this suggestion is for locals because Sunday is the last performance. I'm sorry I won't get to see what was described as a very engaging, creative performance.

I really enjoyed The Toxic Avenger prior to it's going to NYC. But of course living in New Jersey i liked it all the more!
