Charleston. There is so much to do there and it is just so beautiful. First, the food is terrific. Eat at Magnolia and get the shrimp and grits (even if that does not sound good to you, it is UNBELIEVABLY tasty there). The charm of the city is overwhelming. The streets are pretty - the architecture interesting and you can do house tours there and the houses are beautiful. The shopping is also great. It is also on the water and there are several places to visit historically interesting. The pace is great and there is always something to do rain or shine.

I spent a month in TN while in college and Chattanooga was the closest real city to us. I loved visiting it, even in January. The Aquarium is excellent and we ate at Tony's Pasta Shop several times while I was there. It is incredible!
