What is a must to do in greater LA?

There are a gazillion things to do in the greater LA area. That's why so many people live there!
You can see about getting free tickets to a live show, like Ellen or another one. Usually age requirements are 18 or over. More fun than doing a tour, I think.
We love the Getty Villa and the Getty Center.
Also the Will Rogers State Park is pretty. They play polo there on weekends, which is fun to watch.
When you're in Newport Beach, eat at The Crab Cooker. It's an institution. Try to park at a meter in the back, and be there in off hours because it gets very busy. Amazing grilled lobster tails, scallops, shrimp, etc.
