What hotel in Denver (not downtown)?

I am looking for a newly built or recently remodeled chain hotel in Denver area for $100 or so? We will be coming into Denver from Estes Park and then going to Colorado Springs after our stay in Denver so I was thinking something maybe along HWY 36 as we come into Denver or someplace on south side for trip to Colorado Springs.

I would like to stay out of downtown in the suburbs or someplace where parking is free and not a hassle but close to a mall and restaurants.

For example, in Colorado Springs I found a Holiday Inn by the airport that is built in 2001 and is according to their webiste "consistently rated in the top 2% of all Holiday Inns for our guest service".

The Wyndham at the Tech Center. Rates even lower if you pay in advance (Wyndham Webrates).

Oh yeah - I've stayed at the Wyndam Tech Center and it's nice. It's south of the Denver area on your way to Colorado Spgs. The nearest mall is Park Meadows mall - not too far away (a few miles) and right by I-25 south. I remember Mapquest gave us wrong directions to this hotel - ended up at a Domino's Pizza and well, of course they wouldn't let us sleep there, LOL.

For what you are asking, staying in the Tech Center would be good. Their rates could be half of what you are quoting. Look on Hotwire or Priceline too.

There is a very new Marriott in Lone Tree (near the Tech Center and very close to Park Meadows Mall, restaurants...) and across the highway is a fairly new Hilton Gardens. There are also an Amerisuites just next to Park Meadows and I believe one other hotel right there as well. You should definitly find something in your price range and most of those hotels are less than 10 years old.

Based on what you said, I'd stay at a hotel near Park Meadows Mall. Staybridge Suites is nice and (as mentioned earlier) there's a brand new Marriott near the mall that's wonderful. The Tech Center area is okay but no nearby mall.

Lenleigh, which Marriott? When I go to the Marriott website it does not say Lone Tree. Can you tell me the street it is on?

Tess,
Is the Marriott you are speaking of is a Courtyard Marriott located at 8320 S Valley Hwy Englewood? According to the Marriott website it is adjacent to Park Meadows Mall.

Cleo,

There is a Courtyard Marriott adjacent to Park Meadows Mall located at 8320 S Valley Hwy Englewood, CO 80112.

It took me awhile (apparently this hotel is so new it's not listed on anything). Denvercitysearch.com had it listed for hotels near Park Meadows (I know there is one there because I've driven past it a million times). Here is the contact info:

Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows
10345 Park Meadows Dr
Littleton, CO 80124
Phone: (303) 925-0004
Website:
http://marriott.com/property/propertyPage/DENMS

This marriott is 2 miles from Park Meadows Mall, It's on Park Meadows Drive but is a little south near Lincoln.
