What do you think about Your Man Tours??

Hi,
Your Man Tours (Michigan Office) advertised a 2 week tour of 4 Hawaii Islands in our local paper (Toronto, Canada)for Nov 2002 $1848/US/pp ($2800 CDN)all taxes, airfare, inter-island flight, escorted sight seeing & hotels. Is this a good deal?Has anyone used this company? Any opinions or info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Reputable company, but cheap tours. I would imagine that there aren't many things included in the tour and the hotels are probably not the best. The company has a reputation in the tour industry of running cheap Hawaii tours.

Do you know what properties they will be putting you in? As longs as the accomodations are half decent you should be OK.

The properties for Waikiki are Ocean Resort Hotels?? For Kauai are Kauai Sands Hotel. For Maui, Hilo & Kona are Seaside Hotel. The brochures list them as having a rating of "standard"

Kauai Sands review in Ultimate Kauai: Oceanfront location next to the Coconut Marketplace and reasonable prices make this a very popular hotel with tour package promoters. Many visitors are seniors who take advantage of the generous senior discounts. Buildings are old but exceptionally clean. aerial view: http://www.wizardpub.com/kauai/krkauaisands.html

Maui: Located in Kahului. Can't imagine staying there. Here's the review in Maui Revealed: This local chain usually has extremely clean and tidy rooms and grounds, and this one is no exception. Though old, the hotel is pretty well maintained. Maui Seaside is unquestionably your best bet in Kahului.

Not the best properties but they're clean and cheap.

My husband I just returned from a YMT and I have replied in depth under another link. I would recommend it if it is YOUR FIRST TRIP TO HAWAII.

How come so many who haven't actually stayed at these properties post negative things?
