What can I catch to Battery Park aft getting off the PATH train?
Hi! I am coming into New York from northern NJ, taking the PATH train there. But beyond that, how do I get to Battery Park? Is it within walking distance of any of the PATH stops or would I need to hop on a 2nd mode of transportation? Please help. Thanks

You can walk from the World Trade Center PATH station. It's a 10- to 15-minute walk depending on how fast you are. You can also take the subway (it's either one or two short stops). But the PATH station itself is a destination, so leave a few minutes to walk around and gawk at that. It's a very grand, newly opened space.

Walking is your best bet.
When exiting the PATH station (after you see the new (overpriced) Oculus area), follow the signs to the Liberty St/Church St exit. Once at the street you will see a Burger King on the corner of Liberty St & Trinity Place (Church St becomes Trinity Place at Liberty St). Continue to walk along Trinity Place for about 10 minutes (+/-) and you will wind up at Battery Park.
By public transportation (it isn't really worth paying $2.75($3.00 for a single fare ticket to go 2 stops)) but just as a point of information - exit PATH by the Vesey St exit, make a right and walk 2 blocks to Broadway. At Broadway make a right and walk 1 block to Fulton St. At Fulton St there will be an entrance to the downtown 4 & 5 trains. Take either one 2 stops to Bowling Green station. At Bowling Green station use the stairs at the front of the platform. When you get to the street, Battery Park will be on your right.
