What would you consider "best seats" to see a Flamenco show at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach? Ticket Master says, the pit... does this mean I would be craning my neck up during the whole performance? Sitting close would be fantastic.
I guess the mezzanine is elevated. How close are the mezzanine seats to the stage? Is it tiered over the other seats?
Are there any seats to avoid?
Thanks for the input...

I called the theater and asked them. Here is what I found out. The pit is 8-10 feet from the stage and row G of the pit is at eye-level. We purchased tickets in the Orchestra Center section, row H, which were the closest seats available. Box office staff said that anywhere in rows A through N would be good for the flamenco performance.
I also found the URL for the Jackie Gleason Theater and they have a neat feature that displays the stage orientation from different seating areas. Here is the link:

I am so excited! We are going to see Sara Baras perform "Sueños", ("Dreams"). Last year we missed seeing her perform in Barcelona by two days. Out of curiosity I was searching the net a few weeks ago to see if I could watch her perform someplace close to home (like Dallas). Then to my surprise, I discovered that she will be performing in Miami at the same time we will be in Miami.
Here's a review of the performance: http://www.exploredance.com/madrid091204.php
Hope this info helps someone else.
