I loved that! Short easy quiz, and I was astonished because they knew I was from Philly! (Of course I've lived in Fla for the last 23 years and both my children have been 'accused' of being from Philly, even tho they were born and raised in St. Pete...)

Mine came out Midland, and I'm a native Californian. My dad was from the Midland area though. My mom's also a native Californian.

Mine came out West but with a disclaimer that I might not be from the West at all as I have no discernable accent. That's dead on since I was not born in this country and grew up mainly in Florida. People have always told me they can't figure out where I'm from by my accent. Maybe it's cause I don't have one!

Wow - It quite accurately picked up on my Boston accent without a single question about cah or car.

Interesting...I'm Canadian (Toronto) so I thought I might fool it but nope, my accent is 'inland north'!

Mine was perfect. Northeast. And that's where I come from too!

When I was in Calgary recently on business the group was amazed that "I had no accent". I knew I didn't!

Wow. I came up Philadephia or near, and I was born and raised near Baltimore. People have always told me I have no discernable accent, even though everyone else in my immediate family has a definite Baltimore accent.

Well, after living in New England for almost 30 years, I'm really glad I haven't picked up a Boston or New England accent.

Caught me right on. Inland North. Wisconsin or perhaps Chicago to be exact. First 23 years of my life in WI, next 24 in Chicago.

How's that for accurate?

They accurately pegged me as a Philadelphian.

Another Philly Northeasterner here too. Guess that's because I grew up in PA I'm surprised, I thought I lost all of my NE dialect years ago. My spouse says my accent used to be so thick it got to him but now I think I have no accent at all, or do I? Cute quiz.

Pretty good, my spouse also came out "The West" also. I kept asking him if he was sure that's how he pronounced the words?
