West Coast tour

I have previously mentioned that my wife and I will be driving up the California coast next Nov. I have a tentative itinerary but am interested in staying in lighthouses in northen CA and Oregon. Also looking for places to stay in Redwood country. I can also be contacted directly at [email protected] Thanks in advance

Can't think of any lighthouses that have overnight lodging in No. CA, except the one noted by LoveItaly. But many nice places to stay in towns such as Bodega Bay, Pt Arena, Elk, Mendocino, Ft Bragg, Garberville, Ferndale, Trinidad. Very scenic along the Northern CA coast.

Thanx, I will give those websites a try. Two of many more questions to come, How much time would you spend in wine country? And if we skip Portland, OR will we be disappointed?

Portland is a very nice city to live in, but I don't consider it a "must do" tourist destination.

I enjoy Portland as a tourist destination, although I wouldn't consider it as a "must do" for someone from out of the country (I live on the West Coast/ CA).
