Weekend with our Dog from San Francisco

Hi there

Any ideas for a two night stay with our dog from San Francisco.

I need specifics if possible. Hotels, restuarants (love to eat well!!!)

Thanks I have all the books and web pages for petswelcome. Want first hand info where you have gone and enjoyed and activities. Thanks soooo much

Make sure to take your dog to Crissy Field for a romp in the water. Dogs love it.

Is your dog from SF and he/she is looking for a different place to stay? Are you leaving SF and looking for a weekend getaway? Nearby? Are you going to SF for the weekend with your dog?

Yeah, Sarah, your post could mean a couple of different things. Please clarify for us! And if your dog is from San Francisco, where are you from?

What a coincidence, my dog is from San Francisco too. Ask your dog if he knows a Fido. If he does, tell him that Fido says "woof!"

Any hotels, cabins or rentals in Tahoe you can suggest.

Any dog activities or beaches. I hear that you can take the tram at Squaw to the top - true/false??!!!

Thanks

You can take a cable car from the parking lot in Squaw to the High Camp at the top where there is a pool, jacuzzi with a bar, restaurant and an ice skating rink. Don't know if they allow dogs

My friends go up from L.A. to Carmel every year with their dogs. They stay at the Cypress Inn, a gorgeous little place owned (or was owned, I forget which) by Doris Day. Dogs are welcome. In the main lobby/sitting area, they even have a book filled with photos of their four-footed guests. Wonderful atmosphere. There's a few restaurants with patio areas that permit dogs. One is on Ocean Ave. right next to the candy shop. Forgot the name of the place, but it has indoor/outdoor dining.
