weekend spa getaway for the girls

I live in Virginia and am looking for a spa for a weekend getaway for myself and my daughters (ages 25 and 20). We are thinking about going in February, so want someplace warm. We don't want to drive any distance--would like to fly. Any suggestions where three hard-working women can go and feel pampered for a few days? Thanks!

I know the perfect place for you! The Phoenecian in Scottsdale, AZ is a beautiful resort that has a fantastic spa and a beautiful golf course (if you play). There are several swimming pools including one tiled in mother of pearl. Very decadent, but they sometimes have specials. I'm 31 and went two summers ago with a girlfriend for the wknd. We're both hard-working women as well and felt rejuvenated by the five star accommodations and service. Have fun!

Once spent a long weekend, over New Years, at Lake Austin Spa in Austin, Texas. Had a great few days. And the weather was warm enough then to sit outside in t-shirts. Don't know what Feb. is like.

Flying into Austin is easy from the East coast and the spa meets you at the airport.

My husband and I just got back from the Lake Austin Spa today and loved it. Check weather.com and make sure their average temps in Feb. aren't too cold for your taste. It won't get that cold though! I was very suprised that it was so enjoyable in the heat of the summer (it was 102 each day we were there) but there is so much to do, you don't notice it. And it was so secluded and shady it felt very nice. After a day filled with activites and GREAT food, it was nice to end the day with a massage or treatment of your choice. There were a LOT of mothers and daughters there as well. Austin is also an incredible and fun town on its own so if you wanted to spend a night in downtown it would be a lot of fun. I would recommend the San Jose (hip - celebrities stay there) or the Driskill (posh-very nice) Hotels. Enjoy!
