Weekend getaway from San Francisco
Hello! I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out where the perfect weekend getaway destination from San Francisco is. I'm looking for a destination which gorgeous scenery and is super relaxing.
I've been to Napa, Monterey, Tahoe, Point Reyes, Bodega Bay, Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz. Would really like to try somewhere different, preferably by the water.
Nightlife and drinking wine are low priorities for this trip, as are intense activities, as we are expecting a baby in a few short months.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

If it's soon, you could consider going to Tahoe. Yesterday the Hyatt was having a sale on rooms $87 weekday and $107 weekend. The color change going on right now is so pretty. If the sale is off the regular rate is like $145- $189.

OOps sorry I see you mentioned Tahoe in your post. I missed that one.
Pismo is nice this time of year.

Mendocino is a nice idea.
If you don't want to go up quite that far, you might look at the Timber Cove Inn
timbercoveinn.com
just north of Jenner. You can dine there as well as
River's End in Jenner-great food and spectacular views
ilovesunsets.com
You are almost to Mendocino in the tiny spot known as Elk,
and the Greenwood Pier Inn is very nice for lounging by the fire with an ocean view.

Breakfast, brunch or lunch is a must at Quennies in Elk

If Mendocino, do check out the packages at Luxury Link
luxurylink.com
for good deals of what can be very expensive Mendo lodging.
Congrats, BTW !
