Wedding in Oahu

My fiance and I are planning to get married in Oahu this summer. Does anyone have any experience with destination weddings? specifically in Waikiki Beach area?

There were a few weddings at the Sheraton Moana Hotel on Waikiki Beach during our stay there. This is an elegant historical hotel.

We visited the beach area at the Marriott Ihilani on Oahu and probably saw four wedding parties in the course of one Saturday. They have a gorgeous chapel overlooking the beach. You might want to look into it.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! My husband and I were married on Maui a couple of years ago and we used Hawaiian Island Weddings as our planner. We were able to call with questions and felt like everything was being taken care of so we didn't need to worry about it. Email me if you want more info, or if you'd like to see some of the pictures from our wedding to see what it's like. Have a great time in Hawaii! You're going to fall in love with it!

The Royal Hawaiian on Waikiki beach has an outdoor area called the Coconut Grove that is nice for a wedding. They do wedding packages. You can see this location on their web site I think. The Royal is a beautiful hotel. Not sure of the web addres, but you can do a search.
