Weather in Colorado

I have responded to several inquiries about travel in the Colorado, especially the mountains, during September and October. The locals always caution that the weather can be very tricky to forecast. Give you an example -- last night (8th) the general mountain temperatures were mid-thirties and 31 at Leadville. So when we tell you to be prepared --- BE PREPARED !!!

It was 45 down here in the SW Corner of the state! It has been that low for the past 3 nights; loving it!

My east coast relatives still talk about their trip to Denver in 1993 for my wedding... Sept. 11, wedding day, sunny and 90 degrees. Sept. 13, a blizzard so bad most flights were cancelled. Then there was that Christmas Day where it was warmer in Denver than it was in Miami!

Colorado, where one can experience the best of all four seasons... sometimes in the same week!
