Chilly to cold, more rain & clouds than sun, small possibility of snow.

I agree with all suzanne states, yet add that it could also be sunny & warm, 50's. It's a fickle time of the year, really, and more likely to be not so nice.

I've actually suntanned outside in Albany laying not too far from some leftover snow. Spring is variable, but possibility of snow is decent into April.

The Tulip Festival in Albany is usually Mother's Day weekend in May. The last two years I've been there, the weather has been very nice and the tulips and other flowers have been in bloom.
