We really NEED a 4-night getaway; have Hilton points, have Delta FF miles

My husband and I have had an extremely stressful last year and a half. We love to travel and actually have tickets to go to Hawaii in May, but with my latest health issues we're not sure we can go that far, plus our tickets are for 8 nights, and we simply don't have the money or the energy at this time to plan an 8-night trip. We are going to talk to United and see if we can either get a refund or take the Hawaii trip next year.

We'd ike to go somewhere (we're in Atlanta area) where we can either drive or fly; and we'd like to use Hilton points. I've been thinking about somewhere in the Caribbean, Mexico, Arizona, southern California, south Florida, etc.

We need a place where we can relax. Normally we like to explore, hike, etc., but this time we won't be able to do that type of thing. I envision us sitting by the beach or pool relaxing.

Any ideas for some good places where we could stay at a Hilton-brand hotel? (Hampton Inns are fine, too, as long as they have the amenities we want)

Thanks so much!

Two of Hilton's San Diego locations fit your description. Bayfront and the Resort & Spa on Mission Bay. If you do Mission Bay, insist on a pool/bay side room.

The Huntington Beach location is across the street from the beach and a short drive to Newport Beach.

In Tucson, Hilton's Conquistador is a good place to sit by the pool and enjoy spring time in the desert. With all the rain they are having this weekend, should be a fantastic spring bloom.

How about Key West - they have a very nice Hilton right on the water close to the sunset festivities.

Thanks, stumpworks73! We're really interested in the Tucson property. Have looked at it, and Delta also has availability to fly there. Thanks so much!

Any more ideas for us to check out? Thanks.
