Washington Dulles International Airport

This is going to be our first transfer ever at IAD. How long it takes to walk from the Gate D8 to T11? We are going to be there next Monday. Anything we should know about this airport? Thank you for your help.

D8 is about 8 gates up from the mobile lounge you will need to use to get to the T series gates, so you'll have a bit of a hike. Bring comfy shoes.

It's not that much of a walk, compared to other airports, but the mobile lounge will slow you down unless you get lucky and hit one right before it leaves.
