Waltham, MA to Boston-Logan Airport

Will be in Waltham, MA for some meetings this Thurs-Sat. am. Leaving Waltham on Saturday for a 2:40pm domestic flight. Weather report shows no snow between now and then, but with roads as they are how long should we expect it to take to get to the airport. Google maps shows about 20 miles and about 25 minutes. Thanks for your help!

on a Saturday afternoon, that's probably pretty accurate. Even with the snow piled up on the side of the road, there shouldn't be any particular slowdown, and you won't be on local roads much if at all.

Of course, accidents and such are always possible, but barring an unusual circumstance, half an hour should be a good guess.

I always want to be at the airport on time so I would probably advise you to go with leaving at least 45 minutes before you want to get to Logan. Give yourself a little leeway in timing. And if you have to return a rental car, allow for that as well. I'd rather wait at the airport than in traffic.

If you are going in the car to the airport, be sure to have a transponder for the tolls, or a large handful of change.

Taxi? Rental car? Checking luggage? If it were me I would leave around 12:30 for the airport, noon if a worrier. Plenty of time, and you can get lunch at the airport.
