My daughter dickered with this for quite awhile and then decided not to take the meal plan.....after seeing what the food situation was for those that chose the food plan, I think she wishes they'd used it, the food was quite a bit more than she had thought and the meal plan food looked great.

just keep in mind that you are paying for ALOT of food-your sit down meal is appetizer, main course, and dessert. We tossed it around and didn't do it BUT determined that if you are big eaters, it's more than worth your while but if not, you may find yourself eating more than you otherwise would.

When I was at Disney World with my son (then 12), we did well without a meal plan. We weren't big eaters, and got wise at finding the right eateries for us and our appetites. Like sharing an appetizer and soup or salad for a meal instead of two full means. Being creative at meal times pays off.
