Walking tour in NYC for first-comers
I have been wanting to leave a review about this tours for a while. I was in New Your Year one year ago now, but I still have very bright memories about it.
I actually had quite a bit of time (5 days), but it was my first time in the USA and I didn't know what to start with. I have taken a walking tour by New York Tour #1 (the link is below) and I was very happy to have taken it.
It makes no sense to name all the sites that we visited, you can find them on their web site (https://www.newyorktour1.com/one-day-new-york-city-tour) but I was so much satisfied with the tour, that I decided to leave my feedback here.
First of all, the tour became a great introduction of the city for me. We saw many famous places, like Times square, Wall street, etc. And by the end of the day, I felt like I could more or less navigate on my own. Well, at least I had the idea of the distances between the places.
Secondly, the subway. To say that it's complicated for a foreigner is to say nothing. Our guide Jared did an AMAZING job giving us instructions and directions for New York underground.
Thirdly, our guide Jared. A very great and welcoming personality. There were people from different countries and of different ages, but everyone was entertained by his involving stories.
