While, this is totally *not* to scale, it shows the placement of the hotels. I also love it, b/c it is one stop shopping for all the hotel websites, as you can click on the map and in the amusing reviews of the places, there is a link to every website for each hotel.

Bellagio and Mirage are not too bad of a walk, but B to L is quite a hike. In case you are a first timer, almost all distances in LV are much longer than they appear.

There was another thread similar to this a few months ago. In summary, you will walk way more than you think and wear super comfy walking shoes or your feet will suffer.
If you need dressy shoes, tuck them into a purse or small bag and change later.

Yes, the walking distances are deceiving on those maps. You can only cross the strip at certain places (via above ground walk ways). Depending on the time of year and how busy, the Deuce is a good option. But, sometimes it takes longer for the next bus (or the one after that with space) than walking.

...and if you think you can walk through one hotel and then exit at the other end to get to another hotel, don't count on it! I remember thinking I could walk through the hotel and exit on the other end of the building instead of walking outside. When I got to "the end", it was a dead one! I had to go all the way back through the casino and out the same way I came In!

Rather than walking all the way to the Luxor, you can walk to the Excalibur and take the free monorail to the Luxor.

It's still a bit of a hike from the Bellagio to the Excalibur, but not as bad as walking the entire way.

This reminds me of a story I always tell of one of my trips to Vegas..
Hubby and I had been to Vegas a few times and I always watned to go to the Hard Rock, well from our room at Harrah's it didn't seem that far, so we decided to walk...mind you the temp was in the low 100's...anyway, we didn't even get halfway there and we were loking for shade anywhere we could find it..by the time we got there I thought I was having a heat stroke! It was quite a hike! I was so overcome by the heat, I didn't even have the energy to look around the Hard Rock!Come to find out, they had shuttles running to the Hard Rock from the Fashion Show Mall...and believe me..that's the way we went back!
