walkie talkie
Am considering buying a pair of walkie talkies for travel. Can anyone give me pointers on what to look for.
Prices vary greatly and don't want to spend more than I need to but, want a good pair.
We go to Canton's Trade Days (hugh market in Texas) frequently, and the land is quit "hilly". Would need good reception there.
Thanks for the information.

I'm sure other techies can get more specific, but the basics are that you can buy two kinds. the first has 12 or 14 channels and you can get interference from others. the second kind had the 12 or 14 channels and then a sub channel. these will allow you to have a much more clearer conversation and cost a bit more. I bought mine on ubid.com for i think 19 bucks each. hint you need to buy two. You can also get them at radio shack or wal-mart etc. Very handy items OVER lol
