W Times Square - noisey?

I have a business trip to NYC in March and the meeting is at the W in Times Square. My husband and I plan to stay the weekend and we were concerned about the noise. I have heard some reports it can be loud. Is is worth changing hotels or muddling through?

Traffic and pedestrian noise should not be a major concern.

The noisiest part of W hotels are the techno beats they blare loudly in the elevators day and night..... louder as the evening advances; as if this is supposed to lure you back to the bar for one last drink...

What about the sounds of your arms hitting the walls when you roll over in bed? Doesn't that W hotel, like most of them, have miniscule rooms?

I stayed at this hotel and enjoyed my time there. While I was there they played jazz/R&B in the elevators--not techno. The room was an average size with a great view, comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. The food at The Blue Fin in the hotel was exceptional. I would stay there again.
