Vintage Stores NYC.....

Hi there....
We'll be there end of Nov/beg of Dec, 2005.... Wanting to find some good vintage stores in the city. We're not looking for the least expensive but then again, we're not wanting to break the bank. Any good suggestions?

Are you looking for anything specific? Vintage Home Accessories? Vintage Clothing? Vintage furniture? There are some great shops in NYC and you'll have a lot of fun shoppig them. Give us a little more info and you'll get lots of help!

Hi JeanandJerry,

If it's clothing you're after, here's a handful of suggestions:
Allan & Suzi, Amsterdam Ave @ 79/80th (not quite sure which) St;
Darrow Vintage Clothing, 7 W.19th St b/n 5th & 6th Aves (Subway 1/9 to 18th St);
David Owens Vintage Clothing, 154 Orchard St b/n Stanton and Rivington Sts (J/M/Z to Essex St or F to Delancey St);
FAB 208, 77 East 7th St - also on E.7th (#123) is Resurrection (6 to Astor Place);
What Goes Around Comes Around, 351 W.Broadway b/n Broome & Grand Sts (W/R to Prince St).

Some of these suggestions may be out of date, or my memory for the addresses/correct subway info may be wrong - I'm on the other side of the world and it's been too long since I was last in Manhattan - but hopefully they're of some use to you.

cheers,
foxymoron
