Viewing Fireworks From WDW Resorts?

Does anyone have tips on which resorts offer a good view of the fireworks displays in Disney World? Especially Illuminations at Epcot, but Magic Kingdom, too. And I don't mean a balcony view from a room, just general spots at the resort grounds. Thanks a bunch in advance for your help!

Cannot really see Illuminations from the "Epcot Resorts" area due to the high berms, trees, etc, surrounding Epcot. Most of the mixed media/ fireworks of Illuminations is ground level, not high in the sky.

From Yacht & Beach Club, used to have fantastic view of the MGM Sorcery in the Sky fireworks erupting over the Boardwalk Inn...but I think they ceased this fireworks show in favor of the Fanstasmic show. Shame..I thought 'Sorcery' was the best "pure" firework display at WDW.

Not sure of best viewing spots for MK firworks, but Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary should all have some good sight lines.

don't know

There's a public balcony (well, really an outside walkway) on the second or third floor of the Contemporary Hotel that offers a spectacular fireworks view. When we were there it seemed no one knew about this little gem so most nights we had it all to ourselves. Worth a try.

We had a great view of Illuminations in Epcot from the English pub restaurant (sorry I can't remember its name). We were advised to watch from there and weren't disappointed.

We always watched them from the ferry that goes between Magic Kingdom and the Transportation Center. That was we had a nice uncrowded view and were able to beat the rush out of the park.

I second the vote for the Rose and Crown English pub in Epcot! As I remember -- there is an outdoor deck overlooking the lagoon. Can't beat it!
