Veterans - Enjoy your special day
Thank you to all military veterans whether you served during time of war or maintained peace. I wish you well on your special day.
It should be a special day off for all of you, and only to you. You deserved it and have my eternal gratitude.

Do you know a veteran? Get on the phone and give them a call. They need to hear it loud and clear that we appreciate their sacrifices. This and Memorial Day are the days I make a special effort to contact my loved one who served many years in the military. I can't tell you how much he appreciates it.

I agree with all the other sentiments. I hope all Veteran's realize how much they are appreciated.
CaliNurse--Thank you for that extra bit about the families. That is very true. My husband was career military and a friend asked me recently how much we were apart. We guessed at least half the time, probably a bit more. Absolutely NO regrets though!

To all veterans, those that are with us and those that have passed on to the next life, Thank You from the bottom of my heart. And yes, so many thanks to all the families of military personnel, they too sacrifice so much and do so with such grace and strength. Blessings to all of you

Beautifully said, LoveItaly, let's also remember the veterans who are no longer in the material world. At this time I would like to honor such a veteran. I would like to send a special thanks to my grandfather in Heaven for his honorable service in Japan during WW2. Thanks, Granddaddy.
