Vegas bus transportation question
This may seem like a silly question, but here goes anyway. The last time we were in Vegas,we never did see where the bus stops were along the strip. We are going to Vegas again soon, and are thinking of taking the bus from the strip to downtown,Fremont street.Where would be the best place to catch the bus along the strip? We will be staying at Treasure Island if that helps. Thanks for any info.

Look out along LV Blvd for the "CAT" stop signs. They will be small, and there is usually one stop for every 2-3 hotels. You can also ask the bellman at your hotel where it is. It might be better to walk across the street and catch the bus as it heads towards downtown so you don't have to go all the way down to Mandalay Bay and make the loop!
I definitely recommend it as the cheapest and most convenient way to get from the Strip to downtown!

Definetly cross the street to get on the east side of the strip. Look for CAT signs. Most have "covered islands" where the bus stops. Cost is $2.00.
Bus numbers are #301 which makes stops all along the blvd. and bus #302 which makes limited stops.
Best deal in Vegas!!

Just watch out for your bags and personal belongings. The bus stops and buses can be crowded and they're a breeding ground for pickpockets.
I'm not trying to deter you from the bus- it's definitely a great way to get around... Just be aware.
