Vegas Anniversary - Where to Stay?

The wife has spoken and it is Las Vegas for our tenth anniversary. Her choices are the Ballagio, the Venetian, or Caesers Palace. Any feedback? Which wouldyou choose and why?

Also, our anniversary is Halloween. Suggestions regarding dinner or shows for that night (anniversary and Halloween) are greatly appreciated.

I vote for the Venetian because the rooms are the most romantic. Venetian and Bellagio are equally as luxurious. The atmosphere of the shops at Venetian is more charming. Actually, from conversations I've had with friends, the women like the Venetian and the men like the Bellagio. You won't be upset with either, though.

I would recommend the Bellagio. It's a beautiful hotel and the most romantic of those three. You'll love the nightly water shows in front of the hotel--it might be worth paying more for a view of these. And it's centrally located.

Venetian is a good 2nd choice. Big rooms, over-the-top decor especially in the public areas downstairs.

All are great choices but I'd have to vote for the Venetian as well. Not only are the rooms all suites and absolutely wonderful, there is a wonderful 2nd floor with the canals and many shops. Casino wise, I don't care as much for the Venetian's layout. It is just too dang big and easy to get turned around but considering it's your anniversary, I'd opt for the Venetian....unless you can get a terrific deal at one of the others. Oh, request a room close to an elevator because the Venetian is layed out like spokes of a wheel and you could end up at the end of a loooong hall.

I vote for the Venetian if only for the rooms. Largest in Vegas. Tell them it is your anniversary when you make the reservation and when you check in and hopefully, they'll upgrade you.

We really liked the Venetian. Their rooms are all suites with a big marble floored bathroom, nice roomy tub, separate glass shower, separate toilet room, a sunken living room area, two TV's and a gaint picture window. Very deluxe. We've never stayed at Bellagio yet, so I can't comment. Another hotel you might also consider is a suite at Paris. If you can get a room that overlooks the Bellagio fountains that's awesome. Their suites have two separate bathrooms, one with a huge jacuzzi tub and the other with a large glass shower. We loved it there too and the location is prime. Have fun!

Bellagio is consistently the highest rated casino hotel in LV.
That speaks for itself.
As for rooms, the suites at Bellagio are the ones to get. Better than those at Venetian.
Bellagio is classy.
Venetian has a bit of a cheesy flavor to it. For some (maybe most) Vegas goers, that's fine. I don't like cheesiness in a hotel, so that's why I vote for Bellagio.

We always go to Vegas on either my birthday or our anniversary..it is a good place to be silly, happy, celebratory!
We always stay at the Bellagio, anywhere else would feel like "less" and they do treat you so well there.
I was looking at old photos from previous trips there and the room we had lastt was booked as "high floor facing the fountains". It was HUGE and what a view!!! Forget about the fact that at night there is an Eiffel Tower twinkling outside your window, but the mountains in the distance, the Strip! it is a great view.
The service is always good, they gave me a little gift bag last year because my husband told them it was my birthday.
The restaurants are all good, you can do some serious gift shopping at the boutiques and they have a lovely casino, the Cirque du Soliel "O" is there, they have 5 swimming pools and lovely gardens.
Never been there on Halloweek but I bet something fun will be going on. Check the hotel web sites, they might have info on that.
So my vote would be the Bellagio.

You've made your decision but I'll chime in for the Bellagio. The Venetian is luxurious but kind of tacky in a Elvis sort of way. Bellagio is luxurious
