Las Vegas Wynn or Bellagio
We are planning to go to Vegas for our anniversary in April. Trying to decide between the Wynn or Bellagio. Also considered The HOTEL at Mandalay Bay. Want to visit spa and want luxury. Any suggestions or recommendations?

My husband and I have stayed at the Wynn 3 times and each and every time it has been fantastic! We do love the Bellagio too but the grounds of the Wynn, the pool, the outstanding restaurants and the overall attention to detail is extremely impressive..
This is luxury at it's best!
Have fun and happy anniversary.

Haven't been to Wynn, but have been to Bellagio serveral times and love it. I would say that if all things are equal, the Bellagio is slightly better located than either the Wynn or the Mandalay Bay hotel (4 seasons, I think...?) -- more in the midst of the strip and so easier to get to other casinos, Caesar's, Mirage, etc. It's fun to casino hop. If you do go to the Bellagio, definitely make sure you get a room overlooking the fountains -- SO SO worth the small fee to upgrade! Have a wonderful time. I love the Bellagio. Oh, and the spa is terrific there, too. Just beautiful.

The Hotel at Mandalay Bay is in it's own arena. I think nothing else touches it! It is a bit off the main path but transportation is easy. I also think because it's at the end of the strip, somewhat by itself, if that's possible in Vegas, adds a great amount to its wonderful charm.

O was incredible. I loved it.
I love the Bellagio too and the location can't be beat. But what is with all the cheap florescent lighting? I just have this vision of the room being orange! We stayed at Paris the next time and I liked it better. You could probably get a suite there for the same price. And same great location.

Stayed at THE HOTEL at Mandalay Bay from 12-20 till 12-29 and I can't say enough good things about it! Was in a corner suite on the 38th floor with an incredible view of the strip. All rooms at The Hotel are suites and I've got to say that they are HUGE! 2 bathrooms in each suite, with a tub in the master bath that you can almost swim in! 3 TV's per suite with 1 in the bath and 2 - 42" flat screens (one in the Bedroom and One in the Living Room) Staff was wonderful and each room has a sign beside the room with a doorbell, housekeeping request or Do Not Disturb buttons. The Hotel does not have it's own casino but it's only a short walk down a hallway to get to the casino at Mandalay Bay. If you get a chance, try to take in the show MAMA MIA at Mandalay Bay, best show I've seen in a long time!

Anniversary dinner at Picasso to see $70 million worth of art, the the late show at 'O', and then retire to your Bellagio Suite...which I just got for $360 a nite (Sunday to Thurs) and allows you to check in at the 'Invited Guests desk' and use special VIP elevators. No contest - select Bellagio.
