Valet Parking Luxor in Vegas

Does anyone happen to know the cost of valet parking at the Luxor - I seem to recall the hike from self park is a long one.

Valet parking in the Luxor is free (as for nearly all Las Vegas hotels), but you will be expected to tip!!

From experience they are very efficient and are quick to return your car. The only time at the Luxor I had to wait a few minutes was to valet park just before New Year but that's to be expected given the number of people around at that time of year.

Thanks for all the help - one last question - do you tip when you leave or pick up the car - or both times? Being from the UK - I am not quite sure of the rules.

Just tip when picking up the car. The only place you may be required to pay for parking is in the downtown/Freemont. St. area which is validated for free (hmm, free....) when you gamble. Welcome to the States!

You hand your tip to the attendant just before you step back into your car. He'll stand there to help shut your door and will be ready and waiting for it! I fold the bills in half or thirds so it slips nicely into their hand. I think $2 to $3 is normal, more if your car is a mess or hard to drive!
