VAIL - first time ski trip with kids

Just wrote about my first ski trip ever with kids for New Years in Vail

http://chiliandtart.tumblr.com/

Hope that helps

We stayed at Best Western Eagle one night to settle and then Vail Marriott Resort rest of the time and did ski lessons (kids/adults) and had a great time. Ate some fancy places (Sweet Basil/Mountain Standard) and some simple place which were honestly much better but casual.

Enjoy!

We were in Vail/Beaver Creek last weekend, and chose to only eat in casual places because we're so often disappointed by the "fancy" places.

3 yr old up Vail with no experience will not be a wise parental decision. Your child will hate you and prob never ski again, if they live. Put them both in ski school and enjoy yourself. Research the several options at:

Not sure what Peter's hair is, but yes, ski school is a necessity, as if a 3 year old could ski at Vail. Silly ad.

What does Peter's hair have to do with anything?

Cute photos and trip blog, the OP did have all her kids in ski school.
