Hi GP! Thanks for your reply. Elevation of 9400 feet, WOW!. We occasionally go up to the Smokies in NC and my cousin who lives out west has been telling us that we have only been to the hills not the mountains. Anyways, I can't wait for my trip ( 7 more long weeks). Thanks again.

Just back from Zion--(end of March)
BW at Silverdale really nice.
Great pizza place in Silverdale"Pizza and Noodles" !!!Best pizza and Calzone. Really good Deli next door to the Pizza place.
Zion beautiful--great hiking
Mountains are breath-taking. You will have a great time.
note: after Easter shuttles are the only way in to the Park....

Thanks Kay for your reply. At Zion we will be staying at the Best Western Zion Park Inn also.
Message for Utahtea: I happened to come across some info that I had downloaded on my last trip to the Smoky Mountains that might be helpful. The website is www.franklin-chamber.com. Click on waterfalls and it will not only give you descriptions of the waterfalls but directions to them as well. One of my favorites was Dry Falls. Really nice and you can walk under the falls without getting wet.
