.....the best part of South Beach to be in ? I want to be close to bars, restaurants, night clubs and a good swimming beach, ie walking distance.

Address indicates be on Collins Avenue between 8th and 9th Streets. One short block east is Ocean Drive and the beach, and right on the corner is News Cafe the best people watching spot. Many of the restaurants and clubs are on Washington Ave., one block west. You're pretty much right in the middle of the action, and you're definitely within a short walk of almost anywhere in South Beach.

A google search of this address indicates the name is Shelly Hotel, or Hotel Shelly.

Yep that's right, this is the Shelley hotel. It is a small boutique hotel in the art deco area. Got refurbed recently and looks nice on the website.
Also really well priced around $75 per night. Was just making sure the location was good as the price is quite good so I guess I was looking for a reason why this is the case. It does not have a pool, that may be the reason for the low price.
