Upstate New York Wineries
Flying into Rochester and would like to visit some of the wineries. Found accomodations at Canadaigua Inn on the Lake and Lodge at Woodcliff. Any comments on these or others near Canadaigua wine trail would be helpful. Thanks.

I've never been, however friends of mine have stayed at Belhurst, and they said it was very nice. A very low-key place. It does have a great reputation around here, however not too much to do there besides relax in beautiful settings.

I have stayed at both Inn on the Lake and Woodcliff. Woodcliff is located in Victor which is about a 20 minute drive to the lake resort area of Canandaigua. Both very nice hotels, Woodcliff the nicer of the two. Ck out www.fingerlakeswine.com
Belhurst Castle in Geneva beautiful (was there for a wedding) but as Seneca Girl states, pretty low key and not a lot around. Beautiful this time of year though!
