Upscale Sedona Bed and Breakfast or Hotel

My wife and I will be going to Sedona for 4 days in October and need advice as to where to stay for our Anniversary. We like the personal service we've had in the past at upscale Bed and Breakfasts in Camden and Bar Harbor, Maine and we're trying to decide between resorts like Enchantment or L'Auberge de Sedona or a Bed and Breakfast called Boots and Saddles or similar B&Bs. We would like to stay in a good location and would appreciate any advice.

One of my patients adores this place: Garland's Oak Creek Lodge. Rates include an amazing culinary dinner. She goes every year. I can't wait to try it some day. Here is the link:

I've had my eye on this place for years -- the B&B at Saddle Rock Ranch. Haven't had the opportunity to go there, but heard plenty of great things about it.

Hope that is of some help!

I stayed at Saddle Rock Ranch at least 15 years ago. It was a lovely B&B with fabulous view.

As for Garland's, it's almost impossible to get a reservation.

Stayed at L'Auberge last year. Room was small but nice. Service was good but impersonal. Patio was littered with cigarette butts which were never cleaned up(non-smoking room). If I went back to Sedona I probably would look for another accomodation.

We stayed at Enchantment a couple years ago & absolutely loved it. The views are absolutely breathtaking. It is quite a large resort. It also has a world class spa which we thoroughly enjoyed. Rates were VERY reasonable when we visited there in the summer. I would definitely stay there again if I had the chance. I would check what people are recommending on Tripadvisor; that is where I always find the best places that provide great service.

We were pleasantly surprised by Inn on Oak Creek. The rooms were so comfortable and private. Concierge service, too, and a fabulous breakfast. Check out their website. We stayed in the Duck Pond Room.
