Upper West Side restaurant help

Looking for a casual, American or New American place, not real expensive. Any suggestions?

Two questions:
1. Where on the West Side? It covers a broad area.
2. What do you consider "not real expensive"?

I would say anywhere from Columbus Circle up to around 90th or so. How about under $30 per person not including drinks, tax, tip.

Cafe Luxumborg on 71, & Amsterdam has great food, in a cool Art-Deco setting, they often offer Prix Fixe special. Their burger is legendary.

There is a place called Peter's on Columbus, 67-68st that has good food.

There are HUNDREDS of places in the area you are looking in

There really are hundreds of options. A few I always enjoy:

Josie's

Isabella's

Ocean Grill

Gennaro

Ruby Foo's

(Yes, three of the above are B R Guest restaurants.)

At $30 per person not counting drinks, tax and tip), you have lots of choices, many of which have already been offered.
I'll second Cafe Luxemburg, Ocean Grill and add on 'Cesca on West 75th.
In today's casual world, what's not casual dining?
