unique shops in Phoenix...

I will be in the Phoenix area for 5 days and would appreciate some suggestions on quaint/unique shops ... I'm especially looking for pottery and home furnishings. I've been to Arizona many years ago... but on this trip I will not much have time to venture past the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. thanks...

I would suggest parking in the Old Scottsdale area and wandering around. Plenty of unique shops in that area. Phoenix isn't a city known for it's "interesting" areas from my experience.
Good Luck!

I think the downtown area of Glendale is where there are lots of antique stores. When I visit relatives, we've gone there, but as for other unique shops, Phoenix is not the place to go.

The most unique one I can think of is Artifax in Kierland, north Scottsdale Road, almost to Bell...also many, many home furnishing stores in that area, probably not unique though.

I was in Phoenix late last year and visited the Borgata. It's a nice shopping area modelled on a town in Italy. It's lovely, but very pricey!

Old Scotsdale was nice too.
