Typhoon Lagoon vs Blizzard Beach

Interested in any opinions on one waterpark versus the other for a planned 1 day visit in early April. FYI, my kids are ages 7 & 10. (FYI, they like slides, but probably won't go for anything too extreme).

Be honest, don't sugarcoat it and note any negatives. Thanks in advance!!

Both are very fun. While I prefer the Blizard, I believe the Typhoon lagoon will be better suited for your needs. The main reason I prefer the Blizzard Beach is has the fastest and highest water-slide in America. Thypoon lagoon has fun water-slides, a very large wave pool, beach area, and a snorkel area. Enjoy!

I last went to Typhoon Lagoon when I was in 5th grade and went ot Blizard Beach last year for the first time (I am 23 now). I definedlty had a blast at Blizard Beach but my sister who was 11 at the time got a bit scared on the "fastest slide" everything else she had a blast on, there is a pretty nice family ride simmilar to Khalahari river rapids if you have been to the Animal Kingdom....If you need any other disney advise bring it on! My family are all florida residents and we take advantage of the deals we get as residents at least once a year.
