this hotel is a long long walk from the Strip, maybe about a half mile. It is behind Bally's if you are looking at a map, on Flamingo Road. It is brand new and looks quite nice from the outside, but just a hotel not a casino. I am not sure if there is a restaurant.
You can often get some good rates in Las Vegas right ON the strip from tripreservations.com or travelworm.com Just remember that these discount services charge fees if you need to cancel.

Tuscany is an odd project.
It's the first casino project executed by a small apartment management company.
About 0.5 miles from the strip down Flamingo toward Paradise Rd.
The primary concern with this project, and primary question for potential guests, is: why would anyone want to stay so far from the strip when 1)the rooms aren't cheaper than many of the hotels right on the strip, 2) the casino at Tuscany is small, 3) no other casinos are nearby, and 4) you'd have to drive to the strip or take a cab every time you step out the door?
I sure wouldn't want to be one of the creditors or investors in this project. Don't see how it can succeed.
