They usually have your general fare of basic musicals. If you like those, then you will have a wonderful time. The better thing in the fall is the Shakespeare festival--but those dates seem to move around so you might want to check out the Cedar City tourist web site.

My wife and I attended a production of West Side Story there in September 2004 just before Labor Day weekend. We had spent a week at a timeshare property in St. George, Utah, an RCI property that we really enjoyed. The cast of the play was comprised of energetic college students who did an amazing job. The outdoor stage and seating were very well organized and well maintained. While the show does not really compare with Broadway or Las Vegas-style productions, realizing that you are watching up-and-coming actors does not at all detract from the experience. We would definitely return to this unique outdoor theater.
