Me too on McDonald's U.
Also Nabisco, Tootsie Roll, and Mars in 3 states. The one in Tennessee is awesome. The whole place for a hundred square miles around smells like TWIX (cookie dough supreme when baking).
Have also been to hand dip school at Field's for Frangos. Put here a crying face.

Molly, many of those things. I'm a Gregg Shorthand person (and worked at Woolworth's when I was 17).
Have you ever . . .
Sat on the grass at the laser light show at Stone Mountain, GA, and sung along with the patriotic songs?

Yes, he does. I haven't heard from him...they were to summit lat night. Hoping they were still at high camp when the quake hit and that they were not on their way up. He always leaves me with all the specific route details of his climbs, so I have that in case I do not hear from him by our agreed upon time (5pm today). I have been checking the hiking/climbing boards, but there isn't much info just yet.

OMG, he just called! They are fine
He said it was really cool...they could hear it before they felt it, that the sound was coming from below them. They were at high camp, and were about to head out, so they didn't chance it and stayed put. He said it was an amazing experience (course probably not one you would want to repeat!). They talked to the ranger this morning about it.

Here are some of my favorites:
Carved a pumpkin
drank hot cider at Halloween(now with Applejack)
Remember homemade treats for trick or treaters
Ice skated on a small pond
Christmas carolling in the snow
Waited to hear about school closures during Winter snowy days
Ate lobster twice a day on two trips to Maine
Ate crabs, crabs and more in Rock Hall,MD
Ate at the automat and loved it
Saw the Christmas show at Radio City
Caught crabs with fish heads tied on a string and ate those crabs that night at the Jersey Shore.
Have put vinegar on fries best purchased on the boardwalk in either Jersey or Rehobeth.
Stopped 6 nights in a row for beignets at Cafe du Monde
Am still left breathless by the Lincoln Memorial at night
Shook hands with Senator JFK as a young girl
Did buy a house in the SF Bay area.
Nice thread,thanks!
