Swamps, alligators, beaches, surfing, big vibrant cities with night life, old forts, great restaurants of all kinds and flavors, ice cream shops, elegant old hotels, cheap Mom and Pop vintage motels, islands including Florida Keys, Disney World. All fabulous - or not. Depends on your interests.

Major Gay scenes, significant right wing religious fundamentalist presence; multiple Hispanic cultures with different kinds of food; ditto Caribbean non-Hispanic; ditto regional US differences projected on sub-tropical peninsula; game fishing, inshore and deep sea; panthers, wild hogs, four kinds of poisonous snakes (indigenous) plus pythons and anacondas that have gone native. Iguanas and six foot monitor lizards. Adorable dolphins, deadly barracudas and sharks. Fabulous wealth near people living in windowless shacks. A culture of churchgoing next to massive drug use and drug manufacturing and smuggling. You can live your entire life in peaceful comfort or be stabbed on the street for your watch.
It is the best of places and the worst of places.

Ricky,
The unwritten rule here (and on most travel forums) is to do some very basic research before posting a question. Specific questions help us to help you better
