Well, you haven't included salmon fishing (from the shore) or halibut fishing (from a boat) in Homer, so I assume that's not your thing. Catching a 20 lb. salmon from the Homer Spit Lagoon was the highpoint of my teenage son's vacation. There's a great fish and chips type of place on the Spit and of course I can't think of the name of it, but it has whales on the door and is on the right side as you're going toward the sea-end of the spit.
Keep your eyes open for bald eagles as they're all over, trying to scavenge the salmon. There are also usually seals in the lagoon (for the same reason).
Assuming you're driving to Seward, I highly recommend lunch at Kenai Princess Lodge in Cooper Landing. The Kenai River backdrop is breathtaking and the food is very good and reasonably priced.
The Sea Life Center in Seward is interesting but pretty small so I think two hours is about the most it will take. Eat at Ray's Waterfront if you like seafood. I found fresh halibut to be even better than fresh salmon!
That's about all that comes readily to mind. We loved Alaska and you probably will too.

Oleg, last summer we took the Rainbow Tours whale watching trip. It was a very long trip and the sea was rough but once we got there we saw whales and puffins everywhere. Maybe 70 whales. We were so lucky. Bring warm clothes including a windbreaker and a hat You never know about the weather in Alaska. It may be warm or cold. It may rain or not. Be ready
We never had any problem with mosquittos and we were there three times and going back this summer
Well, only one time when we were in Denali I got almost eaten by those little creatures

Thanks to all !
Your responses only confirmed that my schedule is OK. As for the fishing - I am not really a fishing fan. I would rather prefer to spend time hiking and wild-life viewing. I think it's more dynamic too. Unfortunately, I only have a week which makes Denali out of the question.

Oleg, I just remember that we had a great time at the Carl E. Wynn Nature Center. They have walking trails and the views are amazing. If you want more information check www.akcoastalstudies.org
You may also go with this organization across the bay for hiking but we never did it so this not my personal recommendation.
If you have any spare moment don't forget about Pratt Museum in Homer. It is a little gem and they have an interesting trail on the back of the museum with some awesome sculptures that sometimes you will find in some peculiar places, like on a top of one tree.
