Tree @ Rockefeller Center
Can anyone tell me approximately when the tree at Rockefeller Center is taken down after Christmas? Thanks for the help!

OK here's the real scoop, straight from Rockefeller Center(www.rockefellercenter.com)and WNBC (www.wnbc.com) (the NBC station here in NY, at Rockefeller Center):

January 7th

(didn't want to cut and paste from their websites, as per fodor's request)

When does it go up? Is there a tree lighting event? I'll be there on the 16th...thought I'd take a look.

Tree was brought in today, will be lit up officially on the November 28th. See detailed info on the two sites I suggested (see 2 posts or so above this one)
