TREASURE ISLAND - GOOD & BAD?

My wife and I are staying at Treaure Island in early February. Any recommendations regarding the hotel, such as: best rooms/floors/view in hotel to request; best/worst dining; also quality of comps there (what do you have to play). Thanks for any input.

My husband and I stayed at TI in mid-Dec. Had a wonderful room, Petite Suite, on 18th floor with incredible panoramic view. Can't say enough about the staff, and property. Altho not the biggest or the brightest casino on the strip, they were more than accomadating.
Played mostly slots, $1, linked our slot cards, and were approached by not one, but 2 hosts,,,, given comps for meals, one night room comp and casino rate on other room nights. Coffee shoppe and Black Spot Grille were fine for meals... skip the buffet, enough other fine places close by. TI is in a GREAT location!! Have a blast !

My husband and I were in Las Vegas in December '98. While we didn't stay at Treasure Island and I can't comment on their accommodations, DON'T MISS Cirque du Soleil which is playing at Treasure Island. We ordered our tickets a month before coming out since they sell out just about every night. It is such a fabulous show and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Hello Marc

Me and Hubby were in Vegas Oct 99.. We did not stay at TI but we did go to the hotel. It's a nice hotel. We saw Cirque Du Soliel show there. EXCELLENT SHOW!!! A must see!!! Like the above post, we got our tickets a month in advance, due to the show selling out... My friend at work stayed at TI in December last year. They really liked the hotel. There room even had a view of the pirate show that goes on nightly...
Have Fun!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Treasure Island Aug. '99. It is a very nice hotel. Very clean, big rooms and bathrooms. One of the newest looking hotels on the strip. We stayed in a deluxe room which is not the most expensive, trust me you won't spend much time in your room. There is just too much to do in Vegas. The casino is nice. They have everything you would want to play there. I personally dont know much about playing the tables so i played video blackjack which was very entertaining. Make sure you make time to see the Pirate show right outside the hotel. It is very nice and the Cirque d' soleil is absolutely awesome. I loved Treasure Island and I can't wait to visit Las Vegas again.
