Traveling to Italy

I have not been on a plane for many, many
years. I will have one teen-ager with me.
I am looking at fare's to Italy with one
change or two change's. Has anyone traveled
to Italy via Munich and onto Italy? Is that
a good choice. There was another flight from
Northern California to Atlanta, then from
Atlanta to Paris and Paris to Italy? It
seems a little easier with the air flight
to Munich and then onto Italy. There is not
much difference in the price. If you can suggest air flights, that worked well for you. I would be most appreciative. Thank you!

We recently flew Portland to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Rome. It was easy and simple. I would recommend the Munich flight if that is your only stop. The fewer stops the better.

You may get more responses if you post this on the Europe, rather than US, board. Good luck!

Hi Alpicella, you do not to repost on the Europe Board, but since I read your thread I wanted to post. Can you fly from San Francisco (SFO) airport?
