traveling backwards
Which means...I'm trying to figure out where to fly to based on how much money I have to spend (my voucher money) to get there. Does anyone know of a website that might be helpful for this concept?
Otherwise, I hear of a place, look it up and decide it is too expensive. (This is a tedious process). I realize that a travel agent might be useful for this, but hoping there is a website that might give rough numbers.
I have $350 left on a Delta voucher
Flying from Detroit to....
End of August (so not somewhere where it is over 90 degrees every day)
Taking my 17 yo dd along
Prefer a non-urban location
Thanks.

You might call Delta directly and see what options you have flying out of Detroit. There are not alot of direct flights. I know you can fly to Chicago and New York, Atlanta, Boston. From Boston you could rent a car and drive up through some of the nice parts of New England, like New Hampshire, Maine.
Or fly into Boston, see some sites and then rent a car and drive out to visit Sturbridge Village, a VERY well done restoration.
The best place to start though would be directly with Delta, they can give you the best answers.

i can also recommend Delta Vacations, for which there is a link off Delta. you can apply your credit toward DV. my wife and i went to Cancun on Delta vacations and got a fantastic air/hotel deal. so you'll get both good deal and get to use your credit.
