Travel suggestions to Yellowstone/Grand Tetons in Early October 2023

We would appreciate any advise on visiting Yellowstone and Grand Teton National parks in early October. We will be driving from Seattle to Texas and would like to see the NPs
thank you

Have flexible plans at that time of year and sign up for road alert texts https://www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/parkroads.htm

Do you have accommodations booked? Lodges inside the parks start to close in late September/early October.

Yellowstone https://www.yellowstonenationalparkl...summer-lodges/

Grand Teton https://www.signalmountainlodge.com/ and https://www.gtlc.com/ and https://dornans.com/

If staying outside of the parks, Gardiner or West Yellowstone generally work best for Yellowstone and Jackson for Grand Teton.

How many days are you planning to spend?

Thank you Patty for your suggestions. Our travel departure date from Seattle is not flexible. We plan on visiting the parks 2-3 days, maybe not enough and also depending on weather conditions we may stay longer. We have not made any lodging reservations. We are traveling in an RV van.
